Holly Henson met the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with 15 years ago. Much to everyone’s surprise, she married him! Today they have 2 hunting dogs, a fixer-upper in the suburbs and a woodpecker that craves the cedar siding of their home.

Twin Cities comedienne Holly Henson was pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles when she “met a Minnesota guy”-- which is how she wound up living in Ham Lake, MN for the past fifteen years. “So when I talk about hunting and fishing, it’s all true!  I’ve lived it.  I’ve smelled it. I’ve tried washing it out.”

Two years ago, Henson relied on the healing power of humor when diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer.  Throughout ten months of chemotherapy, she focused on the positives, like meeting great people, reducing stress and saving money on haircuts.  She also lost thirty pounds.” The bad part was, I was finally thin…but everyone pretended not to notice!”

Combine the trials of marriage with her personal battle with breast cancer and it is easy to see why Holly likes to ditch the suburbs and husband to raise a little“ Hell on Heels” at night.

Henson makes fun of everyday life, but also enjoys putting a comic spin on tough subjects, like cancer, war, politics and religion.

The suburbs funniest ‘escaped housewife’ brings delicious levity to topics ranging from ‘too late beauty tips’ to the latest headline news. Her rants on being married to a rabid hunter and her aging like “ A fine box of wine” are eye wiping funny.

This award-winning comic is jubilantly funny in her rants against today's youth based society, all the while describing the advantages of aging like a box of wine! A self described 'sexist' feminist, who believes "I am woman hear me roar, but open your wallet and open the door!’ Holly delivers powerhouse punch lines from a feisty female point of view.

As a TV personality, Holly has logged over 250 hours on prime time television, hosting 'The Big Bad Movie' on  KSTC-45 (ABC affiliate in the Twin Cities) and appearing in the PBS documentary, "Summerstock"--a film about Pioneer Playhouse, Kentucky's oldest summer stock theatre.

Holly has made them laugh coast to coast on MTV, Comedy Central, and the USA Network and was First Runner Up in the Twin Cities Laff Off.
